^Lot 130 Colt Government Model .38 Super #SG05402E

American made 'MK IV Series 80' semi-automatic single action pistol chambered in .38 Super, manufactured circa 1995. This stainless steel 1911 features a brightly polished finish, a 5" barrel, fixed blade front sight with white dot, dovetailed square notch rear sight with white dots, solid smooth curved trigger, checkered recoil spring plug, skeletonized hammer, serrated hammer spur, serrated manual thumb safety on the left side of the frame, smooth grip safety, serrated push-button magazine release, serrated arched mainspring housing, smooth front strap, and smooth two-piece faux ivory grips with gold-toned Colt medallions. The original high luster stainless finish retained is approximately 99% with a few superficial scratches. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the action is smooth and crisp. Grips are also in excellent condition. Pistol includes original blue factory plastic box with cardboard sleeve, two total factory magazines, and paperwork. Magazines are marked "Colt Super .38 Auto", and are stainless.
